In Memory of..Lady Girl

I cannot say anything further without the mention of one of the best dogs in the whole world, my Lady girl. This past summer (2009) I lost my best friend. She was 14 years old and has seen me through everything! I was 7 when we got her so we grew up together! She was there for me when I needed her, we would lay for hours and she would let me lay on her while I talked to her and told her all my problems. She was a great listener! I miss her very very much. She didn't have a mean or bad bone in her body. Her only downfall: she was addicted to BREAD! Yes breaddd. She needed her bread throughout the day, it was her comfort food! She begged for it, knew when the sound of the bread draw opened and could smell it a mile away! She was in loveee! I have tons of great stories about her but I will spare you and only tell you one: Not only did she love bread she also loved PIZZA. Well one evening me and her were out enjoying a summer night and she was laying in the yard. She had a very long life and we got to spend so much time together and now she is in heaven because as you know "All Dogs Go To Heaven" =)

Welcome!

I am new to this whole blog thing but have gotten some tips from my mother and sister who both have one! Who knew that I was the youngest in the family and the last to create a blog being that I love computers and all things techy!
To begin, I am a junior in college and definitely ready to graduate next spring. My goal is to become a High School Psychology teacher and so excited to get started on that but still have some time. I plan on going to grad school right after I graduate. Not only will I achieve my teaching certificate but I will gain tons of experience doing so! And of course my masters in the art of teaching! I also work for the university I attend which allows for more experience and of course that paycheck! Woo! With that being said you can imagine how busy my weeks can be with going to class, working and studying. I usually try to take on a lot but sometimes it gets overwhelming and I get stressed out. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger right? However getting through those things with at least some sanity is usually the goal instead of the actual project at hand! So when is it really good to keep yourself at a pace to achieve everything and to do so with perfection? Maybe that in itself is a sickness. Will that be in the new health reform?? Probably not. Guess we just need to keep things in perspective and try to maintain keeping our feet on the ground while things fall apart around us.
Okay so with the thought of trying to decrease the stress in my life, I only make it worse! BY GETTING A PUPPY! :D
